A Hero's Journey
Hello again!
This is week 5 of my Entrepreneurial class and I have already learned and experienced more than I expected.
I've been exposed to new examples and situations that (I hope) will help me as I shape my entrepreneurial (or hero's) journey. An interesting exercise I conducted was in choosing my ideal board of directors. This encouraged me to really boil down my goals and aspirations and to seek out those that have embodied similar goals and aspirations. My board is a diverse cast but I realized that they represented very specific attributes that I'd like to develop as I go. Those attributes include - positively impacting the world, keeping a positive message, asking great questions and ensuring I stay on the right path.
Overall, I discovered that my goal is to lead a life of meaning. As I saw in the video, A Hero's Journey, this is the most difficult thing to accomplish. Making money and learning to learn can be difficult but are relatively easy to attain. It takes deep thinking and prayer and consideration to live a life of meaning. This is my goal and I'm grateful for this class that is giving me the resources to walk that path.
